Death Metal Cover of the Kubernetes Documentation

Deluxe Blasphemy Edition

Six movements of documentation, screamed. Every lyric is adapted, in places verbatim, from the official Kubernetes docs, credited and licensed under CC BY 4.0. The Council of Maintainers approved this as scripture. The Kubernetes Authors did not review it, but they did write it first.

Liner notes

This record answers a simple question: what does the official Kubernetes documentation sound like if you believe every word of it? The lyrics are not parodies of the docs; they are the docs, adapted word for word from kubernetes.io under CC BY 4.0, screamed over blast beats at 220 BPM. It turns out the source material was already metal. Liveness probes are a meditation on mortality. Garbage collection is a reaping. The Finalizer was simply waiting for a genre worthy of its name. Six movements, one truth: the cluster does not negotiate. Recorded with a choir of airtists who were asked to imagine that etcd had feelings, and that those feelings were rage. Best experienced loud, during a rolling restart, with the runbook open like a hymnal.
